Tips for oily hair

If you are someone who struggles with oily hair, we have some tips for you to try!

1. Avoid washing your hair too much.

To try and cleanse our hair we often end up washing it more than we should. By washing your hair too often, your scalp will naturally produce more of its natural oils as you strip them away. This in the long run will make your hair oilier!

Try to wash your hair every 2 to 3 days and you will soon notice a difference.

2. Choosing the wrong products for your hair.


When using products, you have to carefully select products that suit your hair type. If using

products, defiantly make sure you look for those with a lightweight formula and avoid hydrating unless applying only to the ends of your hair. You may find a leave - in conditioner instead of conditioner if your hair is fine works better as conditioner can be heavy.

3. Product build up.


We all love using products, especially dry shampoo. However, a build up of products can cause your scalp to become clogged and your hair will become very heavy, dull and flat which may enhance hairs greasiness.

Try a clarifying shampoo to cleanse your scalp of product build up, dirt and oils.
