Updated: Mar 21, 2021
Now the kids are back in school and we're in to September, crisp mornings, multicoloured trees and spiced pumpkin lattes will be here before you know it.
It's time to start planning your new do!
Be ready to embrace your texture and tweak your colour...

1) Trying something new
After spending so much time away from the Salon, we are finding a lot of Client's in their online Consultations are asking for something different than their usual.
With super long roots, this may be the perfect opportunity to try a Balayage.
French for 'to sweep', we handprint colour on to the hair. However there are so many different looks and types of Balayage now, we may use a different technique (baby lights, foilyage) to achieve the desired look. It also much more low maintenance than highlights, as there I no solid line of regrowth after just a few weeks.
Check out our hair gallery here to see more examples of this gorgeous technique.

2) Red, but with a twist
There's a new softness for reds this season, and we're recommending Clients to be guided by their skin's natural undertone.
For paler skin tones, reds with a pink undertone really make then shine. Wine tones look gorgeous on warmer and olive skin tones, and cherry reds on deeper skin tones.
For natural auburns, adding copper promotes shine and brightness too.
TOP TIP- Red's are renowned to fade quickly. To maintain your colour at home, we have a range of colour depositing conditioners to help keep your colour fresh and strong in-between salon visits.

3) Taking a short cut
If you've been growing your hair during lockdown, going shorter can give your hair a much needed refresh.
Why not try something different by going asymmetrical, or graduated?
